I've just read Biology book by Sylvia S. Mader and I found scary facts!
It said, "Dietary FAT has been implicated in CANCER of the colon, pancreas, prostate, and breast...high fat diet stimulates the development of mammary TUMORS while a low fat diet doesn't."
To solve these problems, the book suggests us to cut down on the amount of fat in the diet. Well, I'll write the tips for you based on Dietary Guidelines for Americans 1980, U.S. Departement of Agriculture and Departement of Health Education, and Welfare:
1. Choose lean meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, and peas. Trim fat off.
2. Eat eggs and such organ meats as liver in moderation. (Actually, these are high in cholesterol rather than fat.)
3. Broil, boil, or bake, rather than fry.
4. Limit your intake of butter, cream, hydrogeneted oils, shortenings coconut oil.
I wish, my post will helps you to get a healthier life. Have an awesome day, guys!
